In this brand-new and exciting program being offered by the BBD, your dog can move through 5 fun and exciting levels of performance!
Unlike other trick programs out there, our program leans more towards a working dog situation. What does that even mean??? Well, instead of just or only the "normal" dog tricks that we all know, our program focuses heavily on skills that showcase self-control, body awareness, teamwork and more! Make those tricks mean something and join us to celebrate the all-around canine companion through this fun and exciting new program.
What types of things are we looking for?
A few examples of the Advanced behaviors that you must complete to earn your Advanced Trick Title are:
-Do an out-around a barrel
-Ignore a barking dog while on a walk (Dog cannot bark back or growl. Whining is allowed as long as your dog can still complete commands upon request.)
-Space games (Step into your dog and they step back, step back from your dog and they step to you)
-Bow
-Speak
-Automatic sit while on leash when your human stops forward motion
-Touch whatever I point to with your paw (Must touch three random things)
-Play confidently with a wobble board or something similar
-Find a named toy in a lineup of at least 3 toys
-Recall away from a friend you know
And many more.
