Things to know!
.The videos are not edited. I just don't have the time to make them as awesome as I wish I could. So you are going to see possible moments of me setting exercises or waving at my neighbors really quick. I may need to chat with my husband or my kiddo for a second. I do my best to keep these moments short, but there are some of them in there.
.You will see my kiddo, my friends and lord only knows what else. Allowing my kiddo to be around while I train my dogs not only helps to proof my dogs against distractions and kids while they are working, but it also is slowly building Caleb's interest in working with the dogs which I love. The only time I won't let him be around them while they work is if it's a VERY new behavior the dogs are actively learning so they can concentrate. Or, if Caleb is just not listening and really getting in the way in a way that makes it unsafe for either him or the dogs, then I usually have Clay take him in the house.
.You will more than likely hear some adult language lol I'm usually good about not letting swears slip into my videos in general, but these videos are me literally working my dogs. So my inner thoughts about my handling will slip out from time to time.
.You will get to see sessions that really were not what I had planned them being. Ivar especially is tough. His work ethic is through the roof and his overall energy is manic and that can often lead to frustration that you will see both him and I working through. I always try my best to break things down and just take a deep breath.
.You will see some of my friend's dogs! If my friends are here with their pups, they are asked if they mind if I video. The mass majority of them are Ivar's siblings Cas and Fury. But you will also see their father Harvey from time to time. It's really a family affair at the BBD.
.I do try to provide a little write up for every video, so you know what was going on or what my goal was. If you ever have any questions on anything you see, do not hesitate to ask! I will happily explain.
.At times you will hear me chatting a training situation through with my husband or my friends. Feel free to listen what we are talking about as many times we are trading information back and forth.
.I cannot guarantee the number of videos that will be added weekly. Weather, illness, overall workload and time are often factors in how often I get out with my dogs but for the most part, I do work them at least a few times a week in some way.
.No refunds will be given for this feature. You may cancel future billings at any time.
.Take any information that you may get from this library as "do at your own risk" especially the conditioning work. Jinx has been doing conditioning for a long time and her program was tailored especially for her by her PT. Understand that there are many steps from where she is and where a dog that may have never done conditioning would be. So, consult your dog's doctor or a certified PT before attempting any conditioning work that you may see here.
"Being able to watch someone else's journey, especially the mistakes and how they fix them was huge for me in my career and still is. I love watching how a handler switches gears from mistakes to wins and back and forth. Watching the dogs light up. It's fascinating."
