"MY YARD IS TOO SMALL!"

This one of a kind class offers course maps for yards of ALL kinds. No yard is too small and no obstacles too few!

All course maps allow for easy obstacle substitutions. Switch out hoops for jumps, recycling bins for barrels, contact trainers for contacts and more!

36 course maps to choose from!

Many of us do not have yards big enough to set full sized courses, nor do we have the obstacles to fill them even if we did!

When I first started agility we only had a normal "town house" sized back yard and I had the hardest time trying to figure out what in the world I could do to help my dogs practice actual course like work. Fast forward 9 years later and COVID forced me and so many others to really start working our dogs from home.

Small Spaces 3 was the third edition of the one of a kind class that made courses to fit as many yards as possible. Not only do you get multiple course options for all different levels of competition, you also gain access to videos of the course actually being run by my owns dogs. Not sure how to set courses from course maps? No problem! My courses are easy to set and in addition to the course maps you are provided with actual pictures of the courses built in real life to give you a point of reference when navigating set up. Finally, one of the most unique features of this class is what I now refer to as "talk through videos"!

In this video tutorial I walk the course with you and look at all angles and discuss all handling options.

Small Spaces allows people without easy access to teaching to have a course experience with an instructor right there with them. All they have to do is press play!

This class gives you maps for the following sized yards:

15ft by 20 ft

The smallest course size ever worked with in Small Spaces! This size allows even the smallest yards to be utilized for course work. The only rule is no jumps are allowed higher than 12 inches due to the size constraints unless specifically stated.

20ft by 30ft

This sized course is one of my favorites for teaching handlers to focus on path work as keeping your handling as smooth as possible is a HUGE requirement.

You wouldn't think that you can work distance in this small of space but week 2 will show you differently!

30ft by 50ft

This specific map offers not only tight course work but also many opportunities for dogs to open up their stride and run.

Working weaves at a distance challenges both dog and handler and the box formation of hoops in the center challenges even the best of handlers to work the path.

Pick the plan that best suits your needs and upgrade to the next level at any time!

"The trick with the smaller courses is learning how to create space and movement even when there isn't really any there to be had.

This concept is similar to what handlers need to do when handling in distance boxes and behind distance lines. It's all about finding those little extras places to step and move."
